 Dr. Greg Byrne graduated from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1996 and began his veterinary career with Dr. Sparks that same year. Dr. Byrne is continually updating his education to bring his clients the best the veterinary profession has to offer. His professional services include equine sports medicine, lameness and joint disease, and reproduction. Dr. Byrne has been a mentor to veterinarians, veterinary technicians, students and horse owners alike.
Dr. Amy Voliva, a graduate of Louisiana State University College of Veterinary Medicine, joined the practice in 2006 after an internship at San Luis Rey Equine Hospital in Bonsall, California. Dr. Voliva’s interests lie in equine sports medicine, lameness, neonatology, reproduction and neurology. Dr. Voliva also has an interest in alternative medicine and is a certified Veterinary Medical Acupuncturist. Dr. Voliva is actively involved in riding and showing American Saddlebreds and her work with show horses has further expanded the practice’s focus.
